The Playstation version of Mortal Kombat Trilogy was developed and published by Midway Games (in North America and Europe) in 1996 for the North American and European market and in 1998 for the Japanese market.
Cyrax in Mortal Kombat Trilogy (MKT) is mostly the same as his Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 forms, with no visible difference other than having a slightly longer delay before more bombs can be thrown. His air throw is easier to use as well, since the game allows the throw to be done even if he is not completely close to him. Unlike some MK3 characters, he doesn’t gain any new move.
Cyrax is armed with a green laser web as well as bombs. His main strategic is to throw bombs around the arena and lure his opponent on them in order to perform a huge combo that can easily tear his opponent’s life bar. His green net is also hard to avoid, even in the air (you have to perform your jump earlier than normally to avoid it).
The main strategic against the CPU is to wait for them to be idle (in the sense that they don’t move until you move) and throw a bomb to perform juggles, ending with a green net. Air throw can also be used in strategic way, such as during Smoke’s uppercut.
